Paychex, BeneTrac Integrate Systems

December 13, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Payroll/HR service provider Paychex, Inc. and BeneTrac, a Paychex company, have announced enhanced integration between Paychex Preview payroll software and BeneTrac's Web-based benefits enrollment and administration technology.

As a result, payroll data and other employee information entered into either the Paychex or BeneTrac system will be transferred to the other seamlessly.   Updates to employee information in Paychex Preview, Paychex HR Online (the Paychex Web-based human resource management system), or BeneTrac are automatically updated in the other systems.

The increased integration comes three months after Paychex’s acquisition of BeneTrac and its online employee benefits management system (see  Paychex Acquires Online Benefit Mgt. System ).  

Users of Paychex Preview Payroll and BeneTrac can now automatically update employee demographic and benefits information—including address, department classification, elections, changes in number of dependants, etc.—across these systems, increasing the accuracy and timeliness of data exchange, according to the firms.  The Paychex Preview service automatically calculates changes in payroll deductions resulting from the updates and alerts administrators to the changes.
