Paychex Picks Up Attendance Program
October 16, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Paychex, Inc.,
a Rochester, New York-based payroll and human resource
services provider, has acquired the Time in a Box time and
attendance product for small- to medium-sized
businesses.

Paychex said in a press release that it had made the acquisition from Stromberg, a Lake Mary, Florida-based company. Stromberg is now concentrating on large-organization products.
“We consider the time and attendance market need to be significant, and Time in a Box offers the capabilities that businesses have been requesting of us,” said Walter Turek, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Paychex, in the statement.
Time in a Box interfaces with Paychex’s Paylink and Major Market Services Preview products.
