PenChecks Launches Benefits Recovery Company

April 27, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - PenChecks, Inc. and its Board of Directors have announced the creation of a new company - the National Registry of Unclaimed Retirement Benefits.

This wholly owned subsidiary of PenChecks has been designed for the purpose of uniting plan sponsors and former employees to facilitate the recovery of their retirement benefits, according to the company.

With the new company, plan administrators and custodians can register their missing participants for a fee, and individuals can check the database for retirement accounts registered on their behalf and obtain contact information at no charge, the company said.
