Plan Termination Info Published on the Web
October 4, 2001(PLANSPONSOR.com) - FreeERISA.com, a
pension and benefits information Web site, has released a new
database of IRS Form 5310's, the form that qualified employer
sponsored retirement plans must file, under ERISA, if they
plan to terminate.

The data is shown in two separate files titled “Open” and “Closed”. The former consists of groups that have filed an application to terminate but have not yet received permission from the IRS, while the latter contains those groups that have received permission to terminate.
Both groups can be sorted by sponsor, employer identification number, zip code, participants or control date.
