Principal Adds Vision Coverage Discounts
February 17, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Dental and/or
vision coverage clients of the Principal Financial Group will
automatically get vision services discounts through the VSP
Access plan provided by VSP, an eye-care benefits
provider.

A Principal news release said that employees will get the discounts when they use eye doctors in the VSP network starting March 1, 2005. There is no additional employer cost, Principal said.
Through the VSP Access Plan, members receive discounts on eye exams, prescription glasses, contact lens exams (evaluations and fittings) and laser surgery.
VSP offers plans that range from comprehensive eye examinations and eyewear to complete medical and surgical eye care.
