Pru to Offer Group Life via Benefits Platform

Prudential said in a press release that its group optional term life product allows employees to buy more coverage on top of an existing life insurance policy. The employees can enroll for the group life policy online or by phone through Prudential WorkingSolutions, the company said.

The company said Prudential WorkingSolutions handles issues of an employee’s coverage and billing status. Employees get information, education, financial planning and advisory services in addition to a menu of other financial products they can buy separately.

Employees can access the system through the Internet or by phone and can make payments through a variety of methods, Prudential said.
