Prudential Introduces eDelivery Option

July 30, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Prudential Retirement Services now notifies its 401(k) participants by e-mail as soon as their retirement plan statements are available online.

Participants, who elect to receive the notification, and then access their statements via the group’s Web site, need no longer wait for snail mail delivery of their retirement plan statements.

Participants choosing not to participate in this new service continue to receive their usual paper statements, while maintaining access to their e-statements via the site.

The new service follows other technology enhancements to the group’s retirement plans including transaction capabilities for users of the wireless Palm organizers and account access using Internet-ready cell phones.

Prudential Retirement Services currently manages over $26 billion in defined contribution and guaranteed product assets for more than one million plan participants.
