Prudential Retirement Names New Marketing Head

June 9, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - James Mallozzi has been tapped to head Prudential Retirement's Marketing and Strategy organization.

In the role, Mallozzi will direct the business strategy, market research, marketing programs and development, strategic communications, and business initiative development and delivery for the retirement business. Mallozzi will report directly to Prudential Retirement’s president John Kim. Prudential Retirement is a business unit of Prudential Financial.

Prior to joining Prudential Retirement, Mallozzi served as Vice President & Director of Strategic Initiatives for Investment Products at the Hartford Life Insurance Company, which he joined in 2001. Overall, Mallozzi has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Mallozzi has an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.A. in Finance & Banking fromSuffolk University, in Boston.
