now have a special voice for their benefits concerns, the
newly created Office of Participant Assistance and
Communications.
Reported by editors@plansponsor.com
The Department of Labor’s Pension Welfare and Benefits Administration (PWBA) formed the office to provide broad-based outreach and assistance for the millions of workers covered by private-sector pension and health benefit plans.
The office supercedes the Office of Program Services.
Persons can contact PWBA by calling 202/219-8776 in Washington, D. C. or the nearest field office listed on their Web site .
