as the toughest job on the football field.
Reported by Eric Hazard
Americans overwhelming feel that the toughest job at the Super Bowl belongs to the field officiating crew, according to a recent Monster Meter poll.
“Referee” was the top choice, recording a majority of the 39,386 votes at just over 50%. Monster’s line setters attributed this year’s response as a reflection of public opinion following several controversial calls made by NFL referees during recent playoff games.
Other vote getters to the question “Which is the toughest job at the Super Bowl?” include:
- 19% – coach
- 18% – players
- 7% – mascot
- 6% – cheerleader.
