Russell Picks Up Stake in SIS

January 29, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Frank Russell Company has agreed to buy a minority stake in Strategic Investment Solutions (SIS), a specialist investment consulting firm in San Francisco.

SIS was founded in 1994 by Mike Beasley and Barry Dennis as an investment advisory firm consulting for large pension clients. SIS’ 22 associates currently service 30 institutional clients with an average $11 billion in assets each, the announcement said.

SIS officials said their clients will benefit from Russell’s nationally recognized real estate consulting and multinational expertise.
