Ruth Hughes-Guden Lands at INVESCO

America today has named Ruth Hughes-Guden as senior
relationship manager for INVESCO North America.

Hughes-Guden will report to Sam DeKinder, head of Client Relationship Management in her new role. She will be based in New York, according to a news release.
Prior to signing on with the AMVESCAP unit, Hughes-Guden served as the executive director for the U.S. Institutional Client Group at Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM). Initially, she was hired by MSIM in 1996 to start the firm defined contribution business, Hughes-Guden went on to include relationship management and client development for some of MSIM’s large blue-chip clients covering both defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
Additionally, Hughes-Guden is the founder and Board member of the National Defined Contribution Council and serves on the Board of Directors of Directed Account Plan, formerly TWA.
