SageView Announces New Chief Investment Officer
September 2, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Richard Palmer has joined SageView Advisory Group as Chief Investment Officer.

Palmer will collaborate with the SageView Investment Committee, working to continuously improve investment and asset allocation solutions, as well as serve a wide variety of retirement plan, institutional, and individual client needs and risk preferences.
According to a press release, Palmer’s experience includes 10 years with Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), where he was Vice President of Product and Client Relationship Management and, later, Vice President of Portfolio Management of Tax Sensitive Accounts. More recently, he served as a senior member of Aspiriant, LLC’s Investment Committee as Director of Investment Advisory Services.
He received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.
