SageView Opens Houston Office

June 1, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - SageView Advisory Group has opened an office in Houston, Texas, to be headed by the firm’s newest adviser, Eric Grimes, a Retirement Plan Consultant with over 15 years of industry experience.

Grimes will be responsible for managing and developing defined contribution and defined benefit relationships in Texas in both the corporate and non-profit domain. He specializes in consulting to corporate defined contribution and defined benefit plans on plan design, investment selection and monitoring, and fiduciary governance issues.  

According to a press release, prior to joining SageView, Grimes worked for Westminster Consulting. He also handled several high-profile relationships for Fidelity Investments in the Northeast corridor, and previously led large-plan implementation projects within Fidelity’s transition services group. He also had a career selling in the institutional retirement space for AIG-VALIC.  

Grimes earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Sam Houston State University, and is currently pursuing his Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
