Sands Appointed Executive of Mellon GSS
August 21, 2001(PLANSPONSOR.com) - Trust and Custody
service provider, Mellon Financial Corporation has promoted
Vince Sands to the position of executive director of Mellon
Global Securities Services (GSS), US.

In addition to Sands’ new responsibilities – developing and executing GSS’s strategy and business development – he will continue to oversee the group’s US trust services, which include sales and marketing, client services, implementation, e-commerce, information delivery and GSS’s Investment Management Outsourcing group.
Sands is a career Mellon employee with approximately two decades of experience in financial services. He is a certified financial analyst and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Clarion University and a master’s degree in business administration from Gannon University in Pennsylvania.
Mellon has more than $2.8 trillion in assets under management, administration or custody.
