Schroder Launches Two New Mutual Funds

January 6, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Schroder Investment Management North America Inc. has announced the launch of two mutual funds: Schroder Enhanced Income Fund and Schroder Core Fixed Income Fund.

The new funds will be available in both institutional and retail share classes, according to a company press release. Retail distribution is available through registered investment advisers. This brings the number of Schroder US retail funds to eight.

Both of the funds will be managed by Schroders’ New York-based team, headed by Steven Lear, who has been with the firm since 1998. Lear will be joined by seven managers and nine analysts. Both funds will be actively managed with an investment process that combines top-down and bottom-up approaches.
