Scottrade Partners with WMSI in Offering Direct IRA Rollovers

December 10, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Wealth Management Systems, Inc. (WMSI), provider of technology-based rollover services, announced that Scottrade, an online investment firm, will join WMSI's IRA Marketplace.

Through WMSI’s IRA Marketplace, retirement plan participants will be able to open IRAs online with Scottrade and directly transfer their savings to their new IRAs without handling distribution checks, according to the announcement.

Scottrade will be available through the WMSI platform beginning in January 2008.

“Scottrade is pleased to partner with Wealth Management Systems to make it easier for investors to roll over qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) plans, to Scottrade,” said Steve Walkenbach, Executive Director of Business and Product Development at Scottrade, in the announcement.
