Security Mutual Distributes 412(i) Info on iPipeline

September 15, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Security Mutual Life is partnering with iPipeline to electronically provide brokers with information about the insurance company's 412(i) plans, according to a news release.

With the arrangement, Security Mutual opens an information pipeline to insurance agents about its retirement plans that are aimed at closely held business owners and self-employed professionals in order to better prepare the agents to sell to end users, a news release indicated.

Based in Exton, Pennsylvania, iPipeline is a software and content service provider for the life insurance industry. IPipeline said its database with more than 1,000 products reaches more than 320 wholesalers, 80,000 agents, and financial institutions.
