Smith Barney Offers Lifestyle Funds

February 6, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Smith Barney Corporate Trust Company has expanded its offerings for qualified employee benefit plans to include four LifePath Portfolios - with the aim of simplifying asset allocation for retirement planners.

The Portfolios are sub-advised by Barclays Global Investors and are named to reflect the target participant’s approximate year of retirement.

Each Portfolio is a structured fund, which invests in multiple asset classes in the US and abroad.  As the retirement date nears, the investment mix is gradually changed in line with the investment time horizon.
