Software Offers Funds AIMR-Compliant Reporting

April 17, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Mutual fund companies can now provide plan sponsors with AIMR-compliant reports, and the ability to offer customized performance indices via new software from Confluence Technologies.

Composites is a new feature in the just-released version 4.70 of FundStation. With it, fund providers can create asset-weighted performance reports for a group of mutual funds or individual investment accounts with similar investment strategies.

The software automatically generates daily composite reports that comply with AIMR reporting standards, according to the company.

Bench Fitting

FundStation v. 4.70 also includes CustomBenchmarks, which provides customized gauges of mutual fund performance. CustomBenchmarks automatically generates blended rates of return daily, monthly, or on an on-demand basis.

The software also allows fund providers to incorporate performance data from other mutual funds into their custom indices.

According to the Pittsburgh-based company, more than 40% of United States mutual funds use FundStation, including Schwab, Janus and American Express.
