Stone & Youngberg Launches Online Muni Bond Platform

Youngberg is rolling out a new Internet-based municipal bond
trading platform for investment advisors, broker-dealers and
institutional investors.

S&Y Online, scheduled for release on May 15, offers access to a searchable inventory of continuously updated municipal bonds, with prices that are executable. Participants are able to bid partial orders. Settlement is on a delivery-versus-payment basis, according to a news release.
A product of Stone & Youngberg’s acquisition of the intellectual property assets of eBondTrade, the system also offers online bidding in the secondary bond market and market news.
