SunGard Corbel Puts Out 5500 Preparation Systems

According to a news release, SunGard Corbel’s Relius Government Forms 5500 Enterprise and Omni Enterprise products are designed to gather and integrate data from high volume administration systems including SunGard’s OmniPlus and to completely automate the process.

Relius Government Forms 5500 Enterprise and Omni Enterprise allow the preparer to import multiple forms and schedules across plans, the company said. Features of the new applications include:

  • assigning status codes in “batch” to planbooks
  • carrying-forward, importing, validating, and printing data in “batch”
  • merging planbook templates
  • reporting data source.

The company claims plan sponsors can reduce their 5500 form preparation time by one to two hours per plan.
