SunGard to Offer New Online Recordkeeping Service

September 13, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - SunGard Employee Benefit Systems has released an online interface that will act as a front end to SunGard's various applications for retirement services.

OmniOnline, the new interface, will offer real-time access to retirement plan services for plan sponsors and participants, as well as call center representatives, third party administrators and brokers. The new site integrates plan setup, payroll, recordkeeping, and participant assistance such as investment advice into one interface. This service will be offered as a licensed installation to all OmniPlus, OmniDBEN and OmniPay clients.

“OmniOnline provides automation from a single point of access for various applications,” said Don Mackanos, president of SunGard Employee Benefit Systems, in a press release.  “This helps reduce the total cost of ownership through convenient and seamless technology.”
