The new feature, “AAA on the Web” enables both primary sponsors and adopting companies to review and accept adoption agreement documents online, according to the announcement. The program saves companies time since the lack of hardcopy documents means only plan provisions that are unique to the adopting company will need to be approved.
Kelly Michel, vice president of Special Markets for Transamerica Retirement Services, said in the announcement, “This online self-service process of reviewing and authorizing the adoption and acceptance agreement online will drastically reduce the overall time and effort required to adopt new client companies into existing [multi-employer] plans.”
