Transamerica Expands Employee Benefits Sales Team

February 21, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Transamerica Employee Benefits (TEB) hired Scott Borden, Richard Kendrick and Dan Loveless as regional vice presidents of sales.  

Borden will manage TEB’s sales base in southern Georgia and Mississippi. As sales leader for the Southwest region, which includes Nevada and parts of southern California, Kendrick will expand and deepen relationships within the consulting, brokerage and benefits community. Loveless joins Transamerica’s Northwest region, which covers parts of Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

Borden previously served as Southeast regional sales director for TrustMark insurance Company. He received his bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College and holds a professional license in life, accident and sickness insurance.

Kendrick joins TEB from EOI Service Company, Inc., where he served for the past two years as Western regional director of the worksite marketing division. Kendrick attended Coastline College in Costa Mesa and received his Group Benefits Associate and Retirement Plans Associate designations from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. Additionally, he holds securities and life insurance licenses in the state of California.

Loveless recently served as regional instructor at Colonial Life where he provided field and classroom training for new agents along with supporting recruitment, broker relations, education and on-boarding. Loveless received his bachelor’s degree from Newburgh Theological Seminary and holds active insurance licenses in life, health and disability income in California, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
