Trend Integration Unveils New Applicant Screening Service

February 20, 2007 ( - Trend Integration, a job applicant screening service, has released a Web- and IVR-based phone screening service that enables companies to automatically schedule, conduct, listen to and score automated phone interviews.

According to a press release from the New Jersey-based company, companies using InterviewDirect Hourly Hiring Solution can integrate the program with other human resources solutions, such as applicant tracking systems.

The service also allows employers to place a toll-free number in job fliers and classified advertisements that job applicants can call at any hour. 

Live representatives can then speak with callers in English or Spanish to offer applicants the ability to transfer into the bilingual InterviewDirect automated system or to call back at their convenience using a personal identification number. Employers can then immediately review the responses to interview questions that can include yes/no, multiple-choice and/or open-ended inquiries.

“Not all job candidates have access to apply for open positions in the same way,” said Hal Cohen, chief executive officer of Trend Integration, in the news release. “Our latest version of InterviewDirect is specifically designed to meet recruiters’ needs for pre-screening hourly workers.”
