Trivial Pursuits: Who Owned Snoopy First?
January 5, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Those who followed the “Peanuts” cartoon strip over the years will recall that Charlie Brown got his dog Snoopy from the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm.
Reported by Nevin E. Adams
But Charlie Brown was NOT Snoopy’s first owner. Who was?
Answer:
Snoopy’s first owner was a girl named Lila, first mentioned in the strip in the 1960s. It was revealed that she had taken Snoopy home from the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm (where he was born and raised), but was forced to return him after her family moved to an apartment building where dogs were forbidden.
