U.S. Bancorp Names Business Development Officer

March 4, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – U.S. Bancorp Fund Services expanded its exchange-traded fund (ETF) administration and unit investment trusts (UIT) division support services with the addition of Mike Castino. 

Castino joins U.S. Bancorp Fund Services as a business development officer for its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) division. He is based in U.S. Bank’s Naperville, Illinois, office.

“Mike brings a wealth of financial industry experience to U.S. Bank in areas of product design, operations and distribution expertise in ETFs, as well as unit investment trusts [UIT] and closed-end funds,” said Bob Kern, executive vice president of business development for U.S. Bancorp Fund Services. “As an ETF product expert, Mike is ideally suited to consult with our investment management clients regarding the ETF market, product design, expense structure, administration and launch process.”

Castino comes to U.S. Bank with more than 20 years of business development, relationship management, marketing and managerial expertise, as well as futures and equity-trading experience. Most recently at Zacks Investment Management, Costina was managing director of its index services division. He previously served as vice president of institutional sales for Claymore ETFs, now Guggenheim Funds.

Castino received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Illinois State University and holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.
