UnitedHealthcare Announces New Product Offerings for WA Employers

April 24, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - UnitedHealthcare announced Tuesday that it is introducing a variety of new products and services in the state of Washington.

A news release said the new products will be available to employers with 51 or more employees. The offerings will include a variety of health coverage options such as network-based medical plans, including consumer-driven health plans with Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs), the company said. Life, dental, vision and disability services are also available.

In addition, the company named Jonathan Hensley CEO of UnitedHealthcare’s Northwest Region, which includes health plan operations in Washington and Oregon.

Hensley recently served as vice president of sales for Regence BlueShield in Washington. Previously he held senior sales management positions with Humana, Premera Blue Cross and CIGNA HealthCare.

Hensley received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of North Carolina.
