Voyageur Purchases NYC Money Manager

February 13, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Voyageur Asset Management Inc, a Minneapolis money manager, has acquired the institutional assets of Daniel S. Kampel Associates Inc., a New York City asset management firm.

In a press release announcing the deal, Voyageur president John Taft said Kampel, of New York City, was a good fit with Voyageur’s approach to equity, fixed income and balanced investing.

Kampel Associates was formed in 1986 by Daniel Kampel, a former partner of L.F. Rothschild & Co. Voyageur Asset Management Inc., founded in 1983 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of RBC Dain Rauscher Corp.
