Wausau Launches Improved Web Platform

September 29, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Wausau Benefits and the Fiserv Health Company have announced the release of newly designed Web site that offers customers benefit information through customized portals off of one platform.

The Web site, www.wausaubenefits.com , will provide separate, specialized portals for members, employees, providers and producers. The service is meant to provide information to customers, as well as promote a greater participation in health care benefits. It gives health plan members access to claims, benefit coverage and health information.

The Web site also offers assistance in evaluating medications, providers, and health innovations, as well as the ability to monitor plan performance and access enrollment and benefit information.

Wausau Benefits, headquartered in Wausau, Wisconsin, provides third-party administration to health, managed care, pharmacy benefits, stop loss and consumer-driven health plans. It was acquired by Fiserv Health in 2003. Fiserv Health provides health plan management, claims processing, and administrative services for self-funded medical, dental, vision, and disability plans.
