Wells Fargo Adds Institutional Share Classes for Six Funds

September 20, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Wells Fargo Funds Management, LLC has announced the addition of institutional share classes for six Wells Fargo Advantage Funds mutual funds.

According to the announcement, institutional shares will be issued for the following domestic funds:

  • Wells Fargo Advantage Equity Value Fund
  • Wells Fargo Advantage Discovery Fund
  • Wells Fargo Advantage Large Cap Appreciation Fund
  • Wells Fargo Advantage Small/Mid Cap Value Fund

Additionally, institutional shares will be available for the Wells Fargo Advantage International Equity Fund and Wells Fargo Advantage International Value Fund.

“The addition of institutional share classes for these funds was driven by demand from plan sponsors and administrators of large retirement plans that are seeking to benefit from economies of scale,” said Randy Henze, senior vice president and national sales manager for the Institutional channel, in the announcement.
