Wells Fargo Introduces Online Pension Tool

December 5, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Wells Fargo has introduced Retirement Pay Plans, a new lump sum feature to its Web-based business portal for pension payments and plan administration.

Retirement Pay Plans allows clients to process one-time participant distributions, including direct rollovers and taxable distributions, create or modify benefit payment information, review up to 13 months of payment history, and generate administrative reports.  

Additionally, plan sponsors can manage their company’s benefit payments through Commerical Electronic Office (CEO), Wells Fargo’s existing business portal.

Piloted in October, the new function is now available to existing Wells Fargo clients.
