Wells Fargo Launches Investment Monitoring Solution

August 22, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Wells Fargo Institutional Trust Services has launched an automated system for monitoring an institution's investments for risk exposure limits and regulatory compliance.

According to the announcement, the Wells Fargo Investment Guideline Monitoring service can help clients better track their assets; ensure compliance with federal, local and self-imposed rules and provide a comprehensive audit trail. The service can test on a wide variety of guidelines, such as asset allocation policies, sector limits, prohibited securities, credit quality concentrations, portfolio analytic rules and more.

In addition, the program can act as a centralized portfolio monitoring system to aggregate data from multiple investment managers and test the consolidated information against established investment guidelines, the announcement said.

Examining trades of securities even before they settle is available with the Investment Guideline Monitoring program, and reports from the program are delivered via Wells Fargo’s Commercial Electronic Office online business portal intra-day, daily or monthly.
