Would You Work Every Day to Double Your Salary?
February 10, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - A new survey finds 25% of respondents would work all
365 days each year if that would double their monthly income.
Reported by Fred Schneyer
A news release from Capital One Direct Banking said 35% of respondents indicated they would work holidays and 19% would let go of their vacation days to get twice their monthly salary.
According to the announcement, 27% said they would hang onto any money they found dropped on the ground outside their workplace and 15% have secretly taken out money from a joint account shared with a spouse or partner.
The results are based on 1,051 interviews, conducted online January 14-15, 2010, among a demographically representative U.S. sample of 503 men and 548 women. The survey was conducted via ONLINE CARAVAN, a service of Infogroup | ORC.
