Pension Reform On Hold

November 1, 2000 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - It looks like Congress is going to wait until after the election to deal with pension reform, following the Senate's passage of a short-term spending bill.

Yesterday the Senate passed a 13-day spending bill to tide the government over until after the election.  The House of Representatives is expected to go along with the move, and the White House also seems predisposed to sign off on the continuing resolution.
