- - - In Brazoria, Texas , William Johnson, 30, made a couple of suspicious U-Turns at the intersection of Texas 35 and 288 early Sunday - - - drawing the attention of a state trooper - - - who was surprised to find - - - a 6-foot alligator contentedly riding next to the back window of Johnson's car - - - Johnson, who turned out to be intoxicated, advised the officer that there was a water moccasin snake in his car   - - - and that the snake had already bitten him on the hand - - - both reptiles were attended to - - - Johnson told investigators that he found the snake and the alligator on the sides of roads and picked them up because he has an interest in reptiles - - - you can see the alligator in the care at http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2008/04/alligatorcarSP_450x262.jpg
