ABN AMRO Names New North America Head

September 11, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - ABN AMRO Asset Management has announced the appointment of Thomas Leavitt as president and chief executive officer for its North America operations.

According to the announcement, Leavitt will be responsible for leading the development of ABN AMRO Asset Management in North America with a particular focus on the institutional market. His responsibilities will includeleading investment teams managing some of the company’s most successful products.

Leavitt joins ABN AMRO from Standard & Poor’s, where he was global head of Client Service and Sales and was a member of the S&P Executive Committee. He also has sales, marketing and management experience from Alliance Capital, United Asset Management, Fidelity Investments and Citigroup Asset Management.

Leavitt’s appointment is effective immediately.
