Aon Veteran Joins CAPTRUST

July 16, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Grant Verhaeghe, a qualified retirement plan investment specialist and 11-year veteran of AON Investment Consulting, has joined CAPTRUST Financial Advisors as Director of Investment Research within the firm’s Consulting Research Group.

Verhaeghe will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm’s strategic asset allocation, investment monitoring, and manager due diligence efforts. Eric J. Freedman, CAPTRUST Chief Investment Officer, leads the Consulting Research Group that oversees the primary investment research pursuits at CAPTRUST.   

According to a press release, J. Fielding Miller, CAPTRUST co-founder and CEO said Verhaeghe’s hire is indicative of the firm’s overall strategy to attract key talent.
