BNY Launches European Investment Tools

November 24, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Bank of New York, though its BNY Securities Group, is now offering global transition management, commission recapture, independent equity research and commission management services to the European institutional investment community.

The transition management service incorporates trading analysis, execution, performance measurement and risk management for global, multi-asset class portfolios. Likewise, the c ommission recapture services provide a tool for pension funds to enhance performance and reduce fund expenses by utilizing a network of brokers, according to a new release.

The commission management service is offered through Westminster Research Associates (WRA) and provides institutional investors the opportunity to consolidate their various commission pools with WRA and the ability to execute trades through their choice of brokers using a global network of over 25 institutional trading firms.

BNY Jaywalk will provide the equity research services.   This service offers institutional investors access to independent research from a network of over 100 providers.
