BNY Mellon Completes Information Delivery Integration

October 15, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - BNY Mellon Asset Servicing says it has completed the integration of its Web-based information delivery platforms.

The newly integrated Workbench portal provides single sign-on access to all online applications for BNY Mellon Asset Servicing.   According to a press release, the integrated portal with its enhanced capabilities was a key deliverable for the Asset Servicing business when the two firms merged in July 2007 (see  Bank of New York Mellon Wraps Up ABN Amro Mellon Acquisition ).

Using the new Workbench portal, users can now customize their global custody reports from a list of 12 global languages – from German to Mandarin – as well as by their preferred global time zone, date and number formats, and security identifiers, according to the firm.

Reporting also has been upgraded to provide users with 24×7 real-time access to cash, custody and lending information in either drill-down web query, PDF, or user-customizable data file formats.   Clients can schedule reports for automatic email, print, save or FTP delivery, according to the announcement.

“These powerful new features give clients the ability to quickly log-in, research, report and download information on their global accounts in their local language and time zone,” said Steve Boor, global information delivery product manager for BNY Mellon Asset Servicing.   “We’re working with clients to roll-out the integrated and upgraded Workbench portal, which makes for a richer, more dynamic and personalized web experience for our clients worldwide.”
