BPAS Announces Link to Paylocity Payroll System

January 31, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - BPAS has announced a new link to the Paylocity payroll system.

Plan sponsors who use the Paylocity WebPay system now have the option to work with BPAS for qualified plan administration. In addition, existing BPAS clients have another option to consider when it comes to their payroll needs.  

According to a press release, Paul Neveu, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for BPAS, says the BPAS file format “allows us to determine and monitor eligibility, update vesting on a real-time basis, simplify the year-end testing process and support both automatic and online enrollment.”  

Through the new link, a .CSV file is delivered to the plan sponsor each pay cycle through the Paylocity secure Web portal. BPAS builds the import map to pull this data directly into CensusPro, then trains the plan sponsor on importing the file so this can be done each payroll period. Once the process is established, it takes only a few minutes each payroll period, the announcement said. The process also provides numerous additional edit checks to verify and correct incoming data before contributions are traded.
