Health Care Hiring Poll
Meanwhile, the news release said, CareerBuilder’s mid-year health care forecast reveals that health care employers plan to continue to hire workers throughout the second half of the year. More than one-third (34%) said they plan to hire full-time workers in the second half of the year, while 28% said they plan to hire part-time or contract employees. In addition, health care is one of the top industries to report a skills deficit, with 63% of hiring managers in large health care organizations stating they have a shortage of qualified workers.
The poll was conducted online within the U.S. by Harris Interactive on behalf of CareerBuilder.com among 277 U.S. health care workers (employed full-time; not self-employed; non government); ages 18 and over between May 18 and June 3, 2010.
