Castle Rock to Host Fee Disclosure Workshops

June 1, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Castle Rock Investing Company is hosting workshops to discuss new fee disclosure rules.

During the first workshop, which is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon, the company will review the 408(b)(2) regulation changes and provide a checklist to help plan sponsors track the new disclosures.

At the second workshop, which is scheduled for noon to 1:30 p.m. and includes lunch, Dorothy (“Doll”) Lank, an Employee Benefits Attorney at Boutwell Fay LLP, will review the content required in the new 404a‐5 participant‐level fee disclosures and provide guidance about electronic delivery provided by the DOL in Field Assistance Bulletin 2006‐03 and the recent Technical Release 2011‐03R. Michele Suriano, Castle Rock’s president, will conclude the presentation by introducing communication strategies to effectively disseminate the new participant fee disclosures.

The company is accepting registrations for the complimentary seminars, which will be held June 13 at the Denver Tech Center’s Oppenheimer Campus located at 6803 S. Tucson Way Building 2 in Centennial, Colorado.

“It is essential that plan sponsors understand the 408(b)(2) and 404a‐5 regulations since they increase their fiduciary liabilities,” said Suriano. “We welcome the opportunity to help them with this.”
