CNA Revamps Sponsor, Participant Site

June 20, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Retirement plan provider CNA Trust has given its Web site a new look.

The more streamlined site ( www.cnatrust.com ) enables simplified monitoring of retirement accounts for:

  • CNAs 325,000 individual participants,
  • some 3,500 plan sponsors,
  • the company’s formal recordkeeping partners, and
  • brokers who sell plans through CNA Trust

Users now have access to the company’s proprietary electronic plan administration system, which includes interactive chart capabilities and provides a seamless transaction environment for the Web site.

The site has substituted spreadsheets, graphs and charts for text displays of account summaries. The revamp is also expected to facilitate participant management of the growing number of self-directed brokerage accounts with CNA Trust, according to the company.

CNA Trust provides trust, recordkeeping and Self Directed Brokerage services under one roof.

The site also includes links to information from sources such as the Social Security Administration and the Internal Revenue Service.
