Dog Collar Will Thrown Out in Italy
November 5, 2009 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - An employee of
a dead Italian businessman forged a bogus copy of a will on
the back of a collar belonging to the employer's German
shepherd that gave the estate to the employee and the
employee's son, a judge has ruled.

The Italian judge found that the writing on the collar was not that of businessman Giovanni Russo who passed away in 2004, according to a UPI news report.
The news account said Russo’s original will left his estate to his sisters and his ex-wife. Several months after the death, however, the family received the dog collar belonging to Russo’s dog Delos, which had writing on the back.

The court ordered the unidentified employee to pay the cost of the five years of legal battles over the will.
