DoubleLine Launches Core Fixed Income Fund

June 1, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - DoubleLine Funds Trust has launched the DoubleLine Core Fixed Income Fund.

The open-end mutual fund is managed by Lead Portfolio Manager Jeffrey Gundlach, Chief Executive Officer of DoubleLine Capital LP, adviser to the DoubleLine Funds. The fund’s objective is to maximize current income and total return.

According to a press release, the investable universe of the DoubleLine Core Fixed Income Fund encompasses diverse sectors of the bond market. Investable asset classes include U.S. Government (Treasuries), Agency mortgage-backed Securities (Agency MBS), non-Agency MBS, commercial MBS, global developed credit (including investment-grade and below-investment grade corporate securities), and emerging markets debt.  

The public is invited to a Webcast presentation regarding the fund and question-and-answer session at 1:15 pm PT/ 4:15 pm ET, Thursday June 3, 2010.
