EBSA Fiduciary Program Heads to "Hotlanta"

June 29, 2009 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The U.S. Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) is taking its compliance seminar series to Atlanta.

According to a press release, “Getting It Right – Know Your Fiduciary Responsibilities,” a free compliance assistance seminar will be held in Atlanta on July 9 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, 1000 Peachtree St. N.E.

This seminar is part of EBSA’s national fiduciary education campaign to increase awareness and understanding of basic responsibilities associated with operating private sector retirement plans.   Partners include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society for Human Resource Management.
