According to a recent press release, Tornga brings fifteen years of experience to Edge, and will lead the firm’s fixed income portfolio management team. His responsibilities will include overseeing $5.2 billion in core plus and investment-grade fixed income assets under management; the firm’s AUM have increased by 47% since June 2009 – to $20.6 billion as of June 30, 2011.
Tornga previously served as senior vice president and head of investment grade credit at Payden & Rygel Investment Management in Los Angeles. He is a CFA charter holder and earned his MBA from the Argyros School of Business at Chapman University.
