Employers Prefer Employees' Vacations to be Fun in the Sun
June 29, 2006 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - More than a third
(36%) of executives polled by Accountemps said that August is
the best month for employees to schedule their vacation
time.

In a press release, Accountemps said that another summer month, July, ranked second with 21% of employers choosing this month as the ideal time for employees to take vacations.
Other months ranked as follows, according to the release:
- 14% chose December
- 7% chose June
- 3% chose March
- 2% chose February
January, April, May, September, October and November each received a 1% vote, while 10% said there is no particular month that is best to take vacation time, and one percent of the executives polled said they did not know.
